Alcatel 1359 IOO (OS-to-OS Interface) is an Open Interface available from Alcatel 1350 management suite for transport and data transport networks. It allows to handoff information/data to other (external) OSS applications. It is based on a TCP/IP connection set-up between the Alcatel NM and the External OS, over which a simple ASCII-based message oriented protocol sends external requests and then collects relevant data.
